1 week away from 8 months old!

Well, I was hoping to post a link to Mack's 7 1/2 month old pictures today, but it seems the company that took them will not let you order them online. Mmm, it must be because they want me to spend over $500 to get the CD and all of his images! So, that is why I am late with this post. I decided to take some photos while GB was here helping me with several projects around the house. Happily, we took out the baby grinder this week, and Mack is happy as a clam to be eating real food from his baby grinder. He is so very close to crawling (yes mom he is up on all 4's and rocking) and feeding himself. I try to guide his little hand to his mouth, but have found that it frustrates him, so he drops his food and throws a teeny tiny fit. Mondays are all for the two of us, and today he fell asleep on my chest after having his bottle. I know he will do that less and less as he grows bigger so I enjoyed it.

7 1/2 months old!

It is hard to believe that Mack is almost 8 months old now! With each day that goes by, you can see him learning more and more. He is so very close to feeding himself, but still struggles where to put the food after he picks it up. All of the pictures in this post were at dinner time. He is a wonderful sleeper now, and is ready for bed by 8 o'clock. We read a story and then it's lights out by 8, he doesn't cry and just lays in his bed until he falls asleep. It's been really great, seeing as he was sleeping through the night and then wasn't over the holidays because of his cold. He isn't crawling yet, but he is sitting up by himself. He still loses his balance, but I think when we get to 8 months he is going to be doing all of these things. Until next time!

Happy New Year!

The pictures this week aren't the best, but Mack was being so cute we took a few with our phone. He is really getting into eating now, and tries to grab his baby spoon when I am feeding him. I have started giving him a cracker to suck on when I eat something, otherwise he screams when he sees me eating and he is not! He is also getting his first tooth, although you can't see it to well yet. Thankfully he is totally into his johnny jump-up so mama is able to get more things done around the house!
