Merry Christmas!

This year was Mack's first Christmas, and what a special time it was! While Mack didn't really get "Santa" this year, it was wonderful to be with family as always. Some of my favorite pictures were of him in Grammie's laundry basket and in his snow suit with his Unkie Brent Allan! My sister was in from NY and got to spend the week with him. By the time she left, he didn't even reach for me anymore! ( Aunt Leslie, just wait, I know he will do the same with you in a few weeks!) We ended up in urgent care, Christmas Eve day because Mack had a fever and a bad cough. Luckily it was not serious and he is back to normal. Looking forward to an exciting New Year, and wishing every0ne the same in 2011!

6 months week 3

I'm a little late with this post. Grammie and Papa were up this weekend to watch Mack while Ethan and I went to a wedding, which I was singing in. Mack is laughing out loud all the time now, and is sooo close to crawling. I am enjoying my time home with him these next two weeks for Christmas break!

6 months, week 2

I struggled for pictures this week because Mack has been a little rascal every time I try and snap a few. Grammie and Papa can attest, as they came up this weekend and returned our puggy Piper to us. She has been a little depressed I think, because she was the only game in town at Grammie's house, now she has to share with Mack again. She is slowly getting back into the swing of things. Things are busy, busy, busy around here getting ready for Christmas. Mack is squealing A LOT! I believe it is his preferred method of communication. I can't believe how much he is becoming a little person. He is teething, but no teeth have shown up yet. It will be a surprise to me to see how they change his babyface.

Like Mother, like son

Since last week's blog post was all about Mack and Ethan, I thought this week would be some pics of Mack and me! Mack was a wonderful little baby on the plane (much better than mom), and we were so proud of him! We were both sporting our vests on Thanksgiving day this year. Almost 6 months old

I am a little off in counting my weeks, but we are technically in week 3 of Mack's 5th month. Eating is now a regular occurrence, and he is enjoying food more and more. This week I posted some pictures of my boys. They have been spending a lot of time together, and are the best of friends!

5 1/2 months

I am 5 1/2 months old! Mommy and Daddy can't believe it! I am learning to eat, which is so fun. So far I have eaten everything Mommy and Daddy have given me, so they hope I keep it up! I am really strong and good at holding my head up, but not rolling over to much. I would still rather be on your lap or laying on my back rather than my stomach. I can stand up by myself with some help, so Mommy thinks I may go straight to walking rather than crawling first. As she always has said, I am advanced!!

5 months old

This weekend we had a lot to celebrate, so lots of pictures! Mack officially turned 5 months old today, and over the weekend he was baptized. His godfather is Rob Goldberg, one of Ethan's best friends from college. My cousin Anna was his godmother. He was very good on Sunday, but then did not want to cooperate when I took Halloween pictures! We started eating foods this week. I started him off with a green vegetable (peas) right away, and he ate it all! I was very proud of him.

4 months and 4 weeks

This weekend we went to CoMo for Homecoming, go Mizzou! Mack was watched by Grammie, Papa, and Aunt Beck while mommy and daddy went to the game. Friday before the game we went to my friend Michelle's and had her little Caroline and Mack meet again. Caroline is 9 months and sweet as can be! She was giving Mack kisses, but he just wouldn't cooperate! Mack is starting to eat from a spoon and still loves his bath. He is definitely a joy everyday!

4 1/2 months

Now I am 4 1/2 months old! I am talking all of the time and no longer cry when I wake up in the morning. I just coo and make sounds until my mommy or daddy comes to get me. Mommy put this picture of Daddy and I on the blog because we looked so cute napping together, and you can see just how big I am getting! Overall I am a pretty happy little guy...

4 months old, week 2

This week I wanted to post some pictures that were taken over the weekend. Grandma Mady and Leslie came to visit us, so little Mack was very spoiled with attention! Yesterday he and Piper were quite happy on the couch together. He pulled and pushed at Piper and she didn't even flinch. He is becoming much more interested in touch, which is why I think he likes Piper's fur. At one point her little head was resting on his leg, but I couldn't get her to stay that way to take a picture.

4 months old, officially

Now I am 4 months old for real. Mommy was counting every Wednesday since I was born on a Wednesday. This week mommy bought me a bumbo chair, since I always want to be where the party is. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, I still prefer to be held as much as possible!
