Yesterday I was 3 weeks old! I keep my mama busy otherwise she could have posted pictures earlier! Right now I am sleeping around 3 hours at a time at night which is pretty good! I still like to be held or rocked to sleep after I finish eating, and my mommy and daddy are happy to oblige me!
This year was definitely special for Ethan and I, as Ethan got to spend his very first Father's Day with Mack and his mom Mady!
Mack had his Auntie Kim and Michelle visit this week. Michelle brought baby Caroline who we know is destined to be Mack's girlfriend at Mizzou!
I am 2 weeks old today! My belly button fell off and it was time for a real bath with Mommy and Grandma Mady. Unfortunately, much like my mommy expected I didn't like it! We'll try again on Saturday and see if I like it a little better. Eventually I calmed down in my elmo towel.
Mack had his first play date with our friends Angela and her baby Kellan. Kellan was born on April 1st so almost 2 months exactly to the day Mack arrived! Angela and I have been sharing a lot this past year being pregnant for the first time together, she definitely had some tips for me in dealing with a newborn! Unfortunately our sons didn't quite cooperate for a dual picture.
Today I am one week old! I'm still getting my days and nights mixed up, although my feedings are going a little better at night. Everyone says it will just take time! Today Mommy, GB and me went to Target and TJ Maxx. I was good for most of it, but I did want to be held in the store rather than sit in my stroller. My pictures are so cute Mommy couldn't decide which one to post so she posted them all!
Ethan and I have honestly never been happier than we are right now! Mack is everything we ever hoped and prayed for. He has made our family complete in every way!
Here we are enjoying little Mack Allan, some of our first visitors were Aunt Anna, Grammie and Papa, my mom and dad who will be called GB and Dan Dan respectively.
On June 2, 2010 at 7:53 pm Mack Allan Silverman was born. He weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. I was in labor for around 15 hours total. My water broke around 5:00 am so I did not end up having to be induced that day after all! Mack had quite the set of pipes on him when he came out, perhaps he will take after his mama in the music department!
