Coming down to the wire

There's a reason I'm posting this at 5:30 am, I cannot sleep! Here is my 38 week picture. We went to the doctor yesterday and I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. There is the possibility that Mack could come any day now. If he doesn't come on his own, I will be induced next week. Some minor contractions have been waking me up hence my decision to enter this post at 5:30 in the morning! Needless to say I'm packing my bag after this just in case. Stay tuned because the next few blog posts will definitely have baby pics!

37 weeks

Our weekly check-ups started on Monday of this week. So far, I am not dilated yet but am 50 percent effaced. The doctor says that is good for a first time mom. I am still working out moderately about 3 times/week and feeling overall pretty good. I can tell the baby is lower and am hoping for a delivery date maybe a few days before he's due???

Nursery Pics

Everything is finally done for the nursery, just waiting on my rocking chair. So many people have helped by giving us diapers, clothes, you name it! I am so blessed to have such generous friends and family! I have also received some really sweet gifts from some of my students!

Mother's day

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! I got a sweet card from baby Mack and his daddy as well as one from Piper and Penelope. Here is my 36 week picture, it still seems far away even though we are only 4 weeks away from Mack's hopeful arrival! I start going to the doctor every week tomorrow so there will be weekly posts from now on. Of course once Mack is here, I'm sure every week will bring lots of new pictures to share. I am still feeling good and have not started waddling yet, we will see what this month brings!
